The female military band members with drums, brass instruments, flags in hand and their synchronized steps to the beat made the whole audience look up because of their impressive charisma. In particular, many female soldiers in the military band carried large brass instruments, weighing from 14-18kg.
The female military band was selected from 18 units across the army to gather and practice for the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. These are also the female military bands that participated in the parade and march on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in May 2024.
Commenting specifically on the female military band during the opening rehearsal of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien - Deputy Minister of National Defense - affirmed that the military band "is very beautiful and very majestic".
The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 takes place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.
People and tourists can enter the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 for free from 9:00 a.m. on December 21, instead of 1:30 p.m. as originally scheduled.
