On August 12, the Hong Ha Ward Party Committee (Hanoi) held the first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with 189 official delegates, representing 5,894 Party members in the entire Ward Party Committee attending.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the congress identified the theme "Promoting historical and cultural traditions; Solidarity, innovation, courage, creativity; Mobilizing the potential and advantages to build Hong Ha ward rich, civilized, modern, and happy people".
In the 2025-2030 term, Hong Ha ward is oriented by Hanoi city to become a new development center of the capital, in harmony between ecology, culture, history and modern urban areas. The ward Party Committee determined the goal of taking the happiness and prosperity of the people as the center; promoting all resources; ensuring that all people enjoy the fruits of innovation.
The ward also determined to build a streamlined and effective political system; a team of cadres with qualities, abilities, and the desire to contribute; mobilize maximum resources for socio-economic development, creating a civilized and modern urban appearance.
With strategic vision, high political determination, consensus of the people and strength of solidarity, the entire Hong Ha Ward Party Committee firmly realizes the aspiration to become a civilized and modern city, a new bright spot in the development of the Capital.
Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan suggested that Hong Ha ward closely follow the planning orientation of the Capital, promote the strength of "Most Upper Towns, Most Upper Towns"; increase the attraction of synchronous investment in urban infrastructure, especially traffic routes with inter-regional connectivity. Thereby, exploiting the potential and strengths of land funds to create momentum to promote economic growth.
Continue to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the fields of land management, environment, construction order, urban civilized order; resolutely prevent illegal, unauthorized construction on public land, agricultural land, and encroached land.
Along with that, regularly renovating, beautifying and beautifying the urban area, mobilizing capital sources for investment in building urban infrastructure, aiming to build and develop a green - civilized - modern city. To successfully implement, planning and planning management must take a step forward to develop in the right direction, develop harmoniously and sustainably in terms of economy, society, environment, etc.
At the congress, important decisions were announced, including the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary and the Inspection Committee of the Hong Ha Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030; the Decision to appoint delegates to the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Accordingly, Mr. Bui Tuan Anh (Chairman of the People's Committee of the old Cau Giay District) was appointed as Secretary of the Hong Ha Ward Party Committee.
Hong Ha ward has a natural area of over 15 km2, with a population of nearly 123,300 people. This is the new administrative unit with the largest population in the capital.
