On August 11, the Long Bien Ward Party Committee (Hanoi) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 248 official delegates, representing 2,716 Party members in the entire Party Committee.
With the theme "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting democracy, solidarity, discipline, and responsibility; innovation, proactiveness, adaptation, and development of a civilized and modern Long Bien ward" - the Congress focused on intelligence, discussed enthusiastically and approved important contents.
In particular, the goal by 2030: Focus on mobilizing and effectively using all resources to invest in developing technical - social infrastructure, developing urban areas in the direction of "Green - Civilized - Modern", focusing on the Red River bank area to form urban areas, ecological space, culture, and creativity. Build Long Bien ward to meet civilized urban standards. Focus on investing, comprehensively developing culture and society, ensuring social security, implementing well the regime and policies for meritorious people, improving social welfare and the quality of life of the people.
Vision to 2045: Building a modern Long Bien ward, developing an urban chain along the Red River, identifying the Red River axis as a new driving force for development; people with a high standard of living and quality of life, with GRDP/person reaching over 36,000 USD; comprehensive and harmonious economic, cultural and social development.
Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan suggested that the Long Bien Ward Party Committee and the Ward Party Committee should quickly develop an action program and plan to implement the Resolution in a spirit of urgency and efficiency; quickly catch up, meet the requirements and ensure stability and smoothness; especially in the context of preparing for new tasks, decentralizing and delegating strongly in the coming period.
These are important premises for Long Bien ward to enter a new development stage with high confidence and determination.
The 1st Long Bien Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and key positions of the Long Bien Ward Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Ha (former Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Bien District) was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Hang is the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Comrade Hoang Hai is the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
The members of the Standing Committee include: Vu Thi Thanh, Nguyen Quang Toan, Vu Phuong Dong, Pham Thi Bich Hang, Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, Dang Duc Cuong, Nguyen Manh Ha (Chief of the Ward Police) and Pham Ba Quyen. The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the first ward consists of 23 comrades.
