On the evening of July 3rd (local time), Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez chaired a ceremony to honor international delegations performing rescue and relief missions in Venezuela after the double earthquake that occurred on June 24th.
Attending this solemn event were Mr. Jorge Rodríguez Gómez, President of the Venezuelan National Assembly; Mr. Diosdado Cabello, Vice President in charge of politics, security and peace, Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and cabinet members, Heads of international rescue and relief delegations; Ambassadors, Consuls General of countries with support delegations.
At the ceremony, interim President Delcy Rodríguez, along with National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez Gómez and Vice President Diosdado Cabello, awarded the "Hero of Venezuela" Order to honor the courage, technical expertise, and courageous spirit, extraordinary efforts of foreign rescue forces in fighting for the lives of victims and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
On behalf of the State and people of Venezuela, interim President Delcy Rodríguez solemnly presented a Letter of thanks to the Governments of the countries for promptly sending specialized forces to support; emphasizing that unconditional and rapid assistance in this urgent moment is a noble proof of the spirit of international solidarity.

Within the framework of the event, interim President Delcy Rodríguez spent time chatting intimately, expressing deep gratitude for the presence of the Vietnamese rescue and relief delegation in the epicenter of La Guaira.
Through Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My, Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez respectfully presented a Letter of Thanks to General Secretary and President To Lam; emphasizing that Vietnam's unconditional and rapid assistance in this urgent moment is a noble proof of friendship and international solidarity between the two nations.

In particular, when witnessing the performance and achievements of the force from Vietnam at the scene, Vice President Diosdado Cabello praised and praised it very much.
On this occasion, the Venezuelan Government also awarded the title "Heroes of Venezuelan Police Dogs" (Héroes Caninos de Venezuela) to 36 police dogs from 12 countries.
