According to the announcement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, leaders of the Hanoi City People's Council were introduced to one person in the female structure to run for National Assembly deputy of the XVI term.
On that basis, the leadership conference of the National Assembly Delegation Office and Hanoi City People's Council discussed and highly agreed on the number, structure, composition to be allocated and proposed Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha to run for National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term, term 2026-2031.
The conference disseminated regulations on the standards of National Assembly deputies, cases that are not eligible to run for National Assembly deputies as stipulated in the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and approved the biography of Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha said that she deeply understands that being trusted to introduce a candidate for the 16th National Assembly is not only an honor for herself but also a great responsibility to the Party, State, city, Hanoi voters in particular and voters nationwide in general.
Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha promises that, in her role as a representative of the people, she will continue to strive to convey the voices, wishes, and aspirations of voters to the National Assembly. If elected as a National Assembly delegate, Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha will promote a high sense of responsibility, have quality contributions to the activities of the National Assembly, participate in laws, resolutions and major decisions of the city; participate in performing the function of supreme supervision, supervising laws and resolutions of the National Assembly, issues of concern to voters and people.
Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha affirmed that she will focus on leading the completion of the Capital's institutions, implementing the amendment of the Capital Law to realize the 100-year vision of the Capital, in which focusing on solving bottlenecks causing frustration among the people of the Capital.
At the conference, voters of the National Assembly Delegation Office and the City People's Council expressed very high agreement on the list of nominees for National Assembly and City People's Council deputies, the personal biography of Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha and related opinions.
According to the voting results, 100% of voters present agreed to introduce Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha to participate in the election of National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term, term 2026-2031.
Previously, the National Assembly Delegation Agency and the City People's Council organized a voters' conference to introduce officials and civil servants of the agency participating in the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and Hanoi City People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term.
Accordingly, the agencies of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council have 4 comrades introduced to participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term; 18 comrades introduced to participate in the election of Hanoi City People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term.
As a result, 100% of voters who are officials, civil servants, and employees of agencies expressed high agreement to introduce the comrades to participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and Hanoi City People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term.
