On the afternoon of July 26, a working delegation of the Party and State led by Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visited Le Thi Rieng Park to offer incense and flowers to commemorate heroic martyrs, and at the same time visit and encourage forces performing the task of searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains here.

The delegation included Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and leaders of many central ministries, departments, and branches.

At Le Thi Rieng Park, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Monument to the late General Secretary Tran Phu; Memorial stele for heroic martyrs who sacrificed in the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring Mau Than 1968; Martyrs' Retreat House; place to worship Heroic Martyr Le Thi Rieng and Heroic Martyr Tran Van Kieu.

In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders respectfully remembered and expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, national reunification and national defense.
After the incense offering ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation went to the area where the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains is being carried out at Le Thi Rieng Park to hear a report on the progress of task implementation.



Here, the National Assembly Chairwoman visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and forces directly involved in the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains, acknowledging the efforts of the units in the journey to bring the martyrs back to their comrades and families.
On the evening of July 26, at Le Thi Rieng Park, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation will attend the live television broadcast "Sao Sang Guidanh Duong" to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).
From July 6, Ho Chi Minh City has deployed the work of searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains in the Le Thi Rieng park area.
As of the end of July 24, the search and repatriation force of martyrs' remains of the Ho Chi Minh City Command has repatriated 101 sets of martyrs' remains and 5 sets of collective martyrs' remains here.
