VSIP II Quang Ngai Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1664 dated December 22, 2023. The project is located in Dung Quat Economic Zone with a total area of 498 hectares, with a total investment of nearly VND 3,800 billion. This is a pioneering Industrial Park project after the Prime Minister approved the overall adjustment of the General Planning for the construction of Dung Quat Economic Zone until 2045.
The project aims to develop industrial parks associated with green growth and sustainable development, continue to attract investors in the fields of application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in production and business activities such as electricity - electronics, precision mechanics, food processing, textiles, medical equipment, interior and other supporting industries.
It is expected that after completion, VSIP II Quang Ngai will create jobs for about 50,000 workers.
