“The legislative bodies of the two countries need to further promote their roles to spread the strengths of cooperation between the two countries in politics, defense and security to the economic and other fields. At the same time, there should be cooperation mechanisms to join hands with the Governments, levels and sectors of the two countries to resolve and remove difficulties in the current cooperative relationship, creating momentum to promote the continued development of the relationship between the two countries,” emphasized National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that from January 21 to 24, 2025, the Vietnamese National Assembly will organize a Parliamentary Forum on Francophone cooperation in the fields of sustainable agriculture, food security and climate change response on the occasion of hosting the Conference of the Executive Board of the Francophone Parliamentary Union in Can Tho City.
