According to the Announcement of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man led a high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam on an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, to attend the 12th Plenary Session of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties and the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man's visit and working visit to Cambodia took place from November 21-24.
The visit and working session took place at the invitation of President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Khuon Sudary and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties Chung Eui-yong.
On June 24, 1967, Vietnam and Cambodia officially established diplomatic relations. Since then, the achievements of the relationship between the two countries have not only been the victory of the national liberation struggle in each country but also reflected in the development of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
