Speaking at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee on the arrangement of facilities, working headquarters, accommodation of cadres and information connection of administrative units, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his joy at witnessing the careful preparation process for the arrangement, merger and operation of the new government apparatus in 3 localities: Can Tho, Soc Trang and Hau Giang.
Mr. Man highly appreciated the preparation of facilities, headquarters, workplaces and accommodation for cadres; the organization of trial operation of information systems, transmission lines and public administrative procedures; developing strict and clear working regulations between levels, assigning specific tasks to each comrade in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
In particular, he acknowledged the application of digital transformation, information technology and artificial intelligence in work resolution; strengthening supervision, inspection, and strict control of public service discipline, especially at grassroots levels. The National Assembly Chairman commended the spirit of solidarity, determination and pioneering of the cadres who have been clearly demonstrated.
The National Assembly Chairman requested the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee to continue to assign, assign responsibilities, regularly monitor facilities, properly implement discipline and timetable, be serious and serve the people well. In the immediate future, it is necessary to effectively exploit the network of Public Administration Service Centers connected from the central to local levels; remove obstacles in headquarters and coordinate the effective use of public assets.
The National Assembly Chairman also suggested that the locality urgently issue working regulations for the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the People's Council and the People's Committee, and assign specific tasks to each comrade. "The promulgation of working regulations is a key factor in building internal solidarity, because each person has their own personality, but when working together towards a common goal, if there are clear and appropriate regulations, it will create consensus, harmony above and below, and effective operation," Mr. Man emphasized.
The National Assembly Chairman proposed to continue to improve personnel to prepare for Party Congresses at all levels; strengthen regular inspections and checks; ensure appropriate arrangement of headquarters and accommodation; resolve the regime for retired and unemployed cadres according to Decree 178; strictly control digital transformation and technology application to serve people more conveniently.
"The most important thing is to promote the spirit of solidarity. Comrades in Can Tho City must be united, unanimous, and work together to do well the two words of solidarity to ensure success," the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
Previously, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation inspected the arrangement of facilities, working headquarters and resolved procedures at the Phu Loi Ward Public Administration Service Center.
Reporting to the National Assembly Chairman, the representative of the Phu Loi Ward Public Administration Service Center said that the unit has been invested in and upgraded with facilities and equipment to ensure a synchronous, smooth, uninterrupted operating system, meeting the requirements of serving the people well. Currently, the center is ready to receive and handle 249 administrative procedures in 12 areas under its authority.
The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the preparation of Phu Loi ward, especially the application of technology to serve people more conveniently. He suggested that the city quickly, drastically and promptly implement key tasks, including digital transformation, information technology application and especially artificial intelligence (AI). He expressed his satisfaction when directly listening to Phu Loi ward officials reporting, grasping the technology and applying it effectively to daily work. If any local cadre were like that, he believes that the people would be very assured.
