National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man awards Party Badges to Party members in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and awarded Party Badges to veteran Party members of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

On the afternoon of August 29, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), at the headquarters of Tan Dinh ward (HCMC), Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the ceremony to award 80-year, 65-year, and 60-year Party Badges to Party members of the HCMC Party Committee.

At the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man awarded the 80-year Party Badge to Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thai (born in 1930, member of Party Cell of Quarter 6, Ben Thanh Ward). At the same time, awarded the 65 and 60-year Party Badges to 13 party members.

On behalf of the Politburo, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man congratulated the Party members who were awarded Party Badges at the ceremony, and sent congratulations to all Party members of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee who received Party Badges on the occasion of National Day this year.

According to the National Assembly Chairwoman, in the process of building and developing the country, the Party has led the Vietnamese revolution through many difficulties and challenges, achieving important achievements. In that common success, there is the contribution and dedication of many generations of cadres and party members, including party members who were awarded Party Badges today.

The National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized that the Party Badge is the recognition and high appreciation of the Party for the contribution of party members to the revolutionary cause. This is not only an honor for each individual but also a source of pride for the Party Committee and Party cell where party members live and their families.

On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairwoman requested the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City, socio-political organizations, sectors and localities to pay attention to fostering and educating young party members, helping later generations to deeply understand and follow the example of previous generations of party members.

This needs to be identified as a regular task, associated with Party building and rectification work and the requirement to set an example of cadres and party members, especially heads, so that the spirit of dedication of previous generations is continued.

The National Assembly Chairwoman also requested Ho Chi Minh City to continue to innovate and improve the quality of revolutionary ideals, Party history and heroic struggle traditions of the city's people for cadres, party members and the young generation.

In which, it is necessary to promote the role of veteran Party members, Party members through periods and historical witnesses, thereby contributing to fostering awareness, feelings and ideals for today's generation.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City needs to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of elderly party members, party members in difficult circumstances and policy families; regularly visit, listen and respectfully receive opinions from veteran party members, and at the same time organize Party activities suitable to the health conditions of elderly party members.

The National Assembly Chairwoman wished party members to continue to promote their experience and revolutionary enthusiasm, participate in building the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Party cells where they operate cleanly and strongly; contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the city and the whole country.
