On December 29, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his delegation offered incense and flowers at the General Le Duc Anh Cultural House; General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum; and presented gifts to outstanding revolutionary contributors in Hue City.
General Le Duc Anh Cultural House (Ban Mon village, Loc An commune, Phu Loc district) has an area of about 4,000m2, including many items such as: Memorial house, library, garden with green trees and lighting system. Inside the cultural house, there is a symbol of Vietnam's sovereignty milestone, rebuilt according to the model of the milestone in Truong Sa in 1988. In addition, the library here has more than 3,000 books of all genres along with many pictures and documents about the general.
In the guestbook, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man wrote: “My delegation and I were moved to come and burn incense in memory of former President, General Le Duc Anh - a highly prestigious leader of the Party and State, a close and devoted comrade, a talented general, and an outstanding son of his homeland Thua Thien Hue.”
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hopes that the locality will continue to pay attention, care for and preserve the Memorial House and Library of General Le Duc Anh to make it more and more spacious, a place to welcome people from all over the country to burn incense and commemorate General Le Duc Anh.
At the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the delegation expressed their emotions when offering incense to commemorate the excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the talented general of the Vietnamese revolution.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hopes that the locality will continue to pay attention to and promote the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum, so that this place becomes a "red address" for educating revolutionary traditions and spreading love for the homeland to the young generation.
General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum is located at 144 Dang Thai Than (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City), the fourth non-public museum in Thua Thien Hue Province. This museum was established to honor and pay tribute to the contributions of revolutionary predecessors and General Nguyen Chi Thanh to the revolutionary cause of Thua Thien Hue in particular and the Vietnamese revolution in general, thereby propagating and educating the traditional history to the people, armed forces, students and tourists when coming to Thua Thien Hue.
