The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province emphasized that the immediate goal of the province is to become a centrally-run city, but the long-term goal is to strive to become a city with an ideal living space with synchronous and modern infrastructure, a leading industrial production center, a center for technology application transfer, urban development, trade services, education, healthcare... so that people can enjoy economic development results, contributing to improving people's lives.
With that goal, the province identifies the tasks of the entire political system as extremely large, including the important task of the Construction sector.
Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan suggested that the construction industry focus on implementing tasks with the most determination, determination, and creativity to achieve high efficiency, create quality products, thereby contributing to meeting the double-digit growth target and ensuring assigned political tasks.
In particular, research and implement 2 plans in parallel, including: General urban planning and adjusting provincial planning appropriately, in the spirit of creating breakthrough products, making the most of the province's development space to realize the planning, harmoniously between the immediate vision and the long-term vision, with the goal of making Bac Ninh a typical developing urban area, a growth zone of the whole country.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to develop a digital map of the whole province on the planning management platform.
At the same time, review and evaluate the overall criteria of type 1 urban areas, especially for localities planning to upgrade urban areas from communes to wards.

Regarding the issue of drainage and wastewater treatment, the Department of Construction is requested to urgently develop a Project on management of drainage systems and smart wastewater treatment in the area.
Regarding construction materials, the Department of Construction coordinates with the Department of Finance to research and implement the establishment of a price index in the area periodically until 2030, avoiding projects being behind schedule due to fluctuations in construction material prices.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also proposed building a transport infrastructure network associated with the provincial planning in a multi-sectoral, modern direction, making the most of the space to develop the non-road transport infrastructure system.
Urgently implement the project to expand National Highway 1 service road, Quang Chau Industrial Park and Van Trung Industrial Park sections according to the policy of separating the site clearance project to immediately implement it, including it in the public investment portfolio for the period 2021 - 2025.
Along with that, advise on the policy to strongly develop a modern and smart logistics system, becoming a breakthrough development strategy of the province, associated with the passenger and cargo transportation service system.
