On August 2, the Tam Long Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that in response to activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 96 years of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the Trade Union of Hy Vong Company Limited coordinated with the company's leaders to organize the "Union Meal" program in 2025.
With the goal of continuing to improve the quality of workers' shift meals, the Union Meal was organized with 105 union members and workers attending, taking place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Each meal is worth 60,000 VND, an increase of 30,000 VND compared to the daily lunch, drawn from the financial resources of the enterprise's grassroots union.
According to the Trade Union of Hy Vong Company Limited, this is also an opportunity for the trade union organization and the company's leaders to listen to the sharing of thoughts and feelings of union members and workers. Thereby creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding; creating trust and attachment of union members and workers to the trade union organization and enterprises.
At the same time, it demonstrates the role of trade unions in coordinating with employers to effectively care for the material and spiritual life, aiming to build long-term welfare programs for union members and workers.
