The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province has just publicly announced the Decision approving the investment policy of 5 social housing projects including:
1. Investment project to build social housing area in Phuong Lieu ward. The total investment capital is VND 2,013,490,000,000.
2. Social housing project No. 01 in areas No. 5 and No. 9 in the southern urban area of Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang ward). Total investment capital is about: 1,564,164,890,000 VND.
3. Social housing project in Nam Son ward. The total investment capital is: 1,069,761,000,000 VND.
4. The social housing area on a 20% land fund belongs to the Housing Area auctioning land use rights to create capital for infrastructure construction in Lim town, Tien Du district (now Tien Du commune, Bac Ninh province). Total investment capital: 177,317,000,000 VND.
5. Social housing project in Dai Phuc ward, Bac Ninh province. Total investment capital is about: 563,713,000,000 VND.
The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province publicly announced so that investors in need can know and submit documents to request the assignment of investors for the above social housing projects.

Bac Ninh is the leading locality in the country in social housing development - according to the assessment of the Ministry of Construction.
According to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030", in the period of 2022-2030, Bac Ninh province is assigned to invest in the construction of at least more than 135,000 apartments for workers and low-income people (of which the old Bac Ninh province has 72,200 apartments; the old Bac Giang province has 74,900 apartments).
According to the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province, there have been 71 social housing projects in the province with a total land area of about 255 hectares. When completed, the projects will meet about 9.12 million m2 of floor space with about 102,390 apartments.
Of these, 26 projects have been completed, 5 projects have been partially completed with a total of 20,726 apartments. The remaining 45 projects are being implemented; organizing compensation and site clearance for investment and construction.
Among the social housing projects being implemented, there are 17 projects facing difficulties in compensation and site clearance such as: Cat Tuong Smart City Social Housing Area, Yen Trung Commune; investment project to build workers' and commercial housing areas, industrial park services, Yen Phong Commune...
Some projects have clean land in the 20% land fund to be used to build social housing, but currently, investors have not implemented or have invested but are slow, such as: Commercial housing area, social housing and commercial center in Dai Dong commune; Golden Park social housing area, Phuong Lieu ward...
