The 1st Congress of the Son Tay Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, marked and oriented a new journey of comprehensive, synchronous and sustainable development.
Son Tay ward was formed on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Ngo Quyen, Phu Thinh, Vien Son wards, Duong Lam commune and part of the area and population of Trung Hung ward, Son Loc ward, Thanh My commune (old Son Tay town); area of 23.08km2, population of 75,366 people.
