National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 65/2025/UBTVQH15 adjusting the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2025.
Resolution No. 65/2025/UBTVQH15 adjusting the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2025 resolves and adds many law projects to the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2025.
In particular, submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 9th Extraordinary Session (February 2025) according to the process at one session and according to the shortened order and procedures, the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, the draft Law on Organization of the Government (amended) and the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended).
Submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 9th Session (May 2025) according to the procedure at a session of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy.
Submit to the National Assembly for comments at the 9th Session and approve at the 10th Session (October 2025) the draft Law on Atomic Energy (amended).
In case the bill is well prepared by the Government and the discussion process at the National Assembly reaches high consensus, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and coordinate with the Government to submit it to the National Assembly for approval at the 9th Session according to the procedure at one session.
Submit to the National Assembly for comments at the 10th Session the draft Law on Temporary Detention, Temporary Imprisonment and Prohibition from Leaving the Place of Residence and the draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments.
In case the draft Laws are well prepared by the Government and the discussion process at the National Assembly reaches high consensus, the National Assembly Standing Committee shall consider and coordinate with the Government to submit them to the National Assembly for approval at the 10th Session according to the procedure at one session.
The National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to adjust the time for submitting the draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended) from the Program for comments and approval at the 9th Session to the Program for comments and approval at the 9th Extraordinary Session (February 2025) according to the process at one session and according to the shortened order and procedures.
The National Assembly Standing Committee assigned the Government to direct relevant agencies to urgently prepare a draft Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of contents related to the organization and apparatus arrangement, submit it to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 9th Extraordinary Session (February 2025) according to the process at one session and according to the shortened order and procedures.
