Bac Ninh reduces 5 agencies, leaving 14 departments, branches and sectors
On January 17, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province held the 25th session (special session).
After rearranging and reorganizing the apparatus, the entire Bac Ninh province has 14 departments, branches and sectors (including 12 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, and Provincial Industrial Park Management Board), reducing 5 agencies.
Quang Nam reduces 52 departments and branches
Accordingly, after the arrangement and merger, the agencies, units of the Party bloc, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial level have reduced 25 departments, offices and units, reaching an average rate of more than 25%.
Regarding agencies and units under the government sector, after the arrangement, the whole province has 21 specialized agencies, administrative organizations, and public service units under the Provincial People's Committee (reduced by 7 units).
For specialized agencies and administrative organizations under the Provincial People's Committee, 26/119 departments, branches and equivalents were reduced (21.8%), and 8/52 public service units/units assigned to public service payroll were reduced (15.4%).
The province has 243 units under departments and branches; after the arrangement, there are 191 units, a decrease of 52 units (including 18 medical centers currently under the Department of Health and reduced due to transfer to local management), corresponding to a decrease of 21.3%. Public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, currently have 70 units inside, after the arrangement there are 57 units, a decrease of 13 units, corresponding to a decrease of 18.5%.
Lam Dong merges the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee
On the morning of January 17, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.
According to Decision No. 2264-QD/TU, the merged unit is called the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, including 5 affiliated department-level units: Office of the Department; Department of Political Theory and Party History; Department of Propaganda, Press, Publishing; Department of Government, Ethnic and Religious Mass Mobilization; Department of Science, Education, Mass Organizations and Associations.
Long An ends the activities of 7 Party delegations and 2 provincial Party Executive Committees
Long An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to approve the draft project to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the provincial political system.
The conference also announced the end of activities from January 15, 2025 for 7 Party delegations: Party delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province; Party delegation of the Provincial Women's Union; Party delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Party delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation; Party delegation of the Provincial Veterans' Association; Party delegation of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Party delegation of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and 2 provincial Party Executive Committees including the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy and the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Court.
For the Provincial People's Council Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Party Executive Committee will end its activities after the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee, mass organizations, People's Council, judiciary and Provincial Government Party Committee.
Quang Ngai is about to announce the establishment of 2 new Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
The Steering Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW held the 4th meeting to give opinions on the contents under its authority.
At the meeting, the Steering Committee listened to and gave opinions on the Project to establish the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, Mass Organizations, People's Council, Judiciary and the Provincial Government Bloc Party Committee; the Project to establish the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; the Plan to streamline the organization of the Provincial Labor Federation; the Project to merge Department-level agencies in the Government Bloc.
The Steering Committee members agreed with the content of the Project submitted by the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Steering Committee's Working Group.
It is expected that the announcement of the decision and putting into operation of the two new Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will be on February 4, 2025.
