Transferring 2 units of the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Ministry of National Defense

The Ministry of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over and coordinate the transfer of the two units to the Ministry of National Defense before December 31, 2025.

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed Decision 1510/QD-TTg dated July 10, 2025 promulgating a list of public service units under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to this decision, public service units under the Ministry of Home Affairs include 2 units: University of Labor - Social Affairs and Overseas Labor Center.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense and relevant agencies to transfer the Vietnam B order and Mines Repair Action Center and the Vietnam B order and Mines Repair Support Fund to the Ministry of National Defense, to be completed before December 31, 2025.

The Vietnam Bomb and Mineral Repair Support Fund and the Vietnam Bomb and Mineral Repair Action Center will continue to operate according to current regulations until competent authorities complete the transfer and reception according to regulations.

At the same time, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to arrange and reorganize the Construction Investment Project Management Board to the Ministry's Office, to be completed before March 31, 2026.

The Construction Investment Project Management Board continues to operate according to current regulations until the Minister of Home Affairs completes the arrangement and reorganization according to regulations.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing; replaces Decision No. 620/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister promulgating the list of public service units under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Decision No. 58/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister promulgating the list of public service units under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
