On the morning of September 7, in Hanoi, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, Tran Cam Tu - Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, chaired the Standing Committee Conference of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies in August 2026, according to VNA.
Concluding the conference, on some tasks for the coming time, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu clearly stated that the entire Party Committee of central Party agencies should focus on leading and directing the work of advising and preparing to serve well the 4th Conference of the 14th Central Committee; the work of evaluating cadres in the third quarter of 2026 according to the Central Government's guidelines associated with the preliminary review of the third quarter and 9 months of 2026 to ensure substance and closeness to the actual situation.
Regarding the task of digital transformation in Party agencies, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu clearly stated that the Standing Committee highly appreciates the initial efforts of the Working Group and affiliated Party committees in deploying the development of work management software and evaluating the results of task implementation for cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, especially the Central Office, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the advisory and assisting committees of the Party Committee, and technical support units.
Clearly stating the goal of piloting in September 2026, officially operating throughout the Party Committee (including 19 agencies) by the end of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested directly affiliated Party committees to uphold the spirit of responsibility, organize and implement tasks more drastically and effectively, ensuring progress and quality of results in performing tasks at their agencies and units.
Emphasizing that this is a very important content in innovating methods of leadership, management, administration and implementing digital transformation in Party work, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested agencies to continue to improve the list of work products and evaluation criteria; ensure suitability with each group of titles and positions; avoid average, egalitarian or chasing after indicators; ensure the principles of objectivity, fairness, transparency, and proper authority. In the immediate future, it is necessary to deploy step by step, with tests, assessments, and adjustments; then expand synchronously throughout the Party Committee.
Regarding the implementation of new resolutions and directives of the Politburo, the Standing Committee unanimously issued plans to implement 5 resolutions and 1 new directive of the Politburo.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat proposed that in the process of developing plans, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the consistent requirements of General Secretary and President To Lam. That is, do not make plans in the style of copying resolutions; do not spread out tasks; must base on the functions and tasks of the Party Committee and each directly affiliated Party Committee to identify directly related tasks to lead, direct, advise, propagate, inspect, and closely supervise the organization of implementation.
Subordinate Party committees continue to thoroughly grasp and deploy the development of implementation plans suitable to their functions and tasks, to be completed in September 2026.
Regarding continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities, the Standing Committee unanimously issued a Conclusion on a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of implementing Directive No. 50 of the Secretariat on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities in the new situation.
Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu proposed that directly affiliated Party committees improve the responsibility of Party committees, especially Party committee secretaries and Party cell secretaries; consider the quality of Party cell activities as the direct responsibility of the head.
We must identify this as a regular and very important task of Party building work, directly contributing to improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization as well as the quality of the contingent of cadres and party members in the Party Committee" - the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized.
