According to information from Phu Tho Provincial Police, implementing Resolution No. 1882-NQ/UBTVQH15 dated November 14, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Phu Tho province for the period 2023-2025; Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the arrangement and consolidation of communes, wards and towns in Phu Tho province, on the morning of December 31, 2024, Viet Tri City Police, Doan Hung and Cam Khe District Police organized the announcement of the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the arrangement of commune, ward and town police and the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work for commune-level police commanders.
According to the decision of the Minister of Public Security, Phu Tho Provincial Police will reorganize 31 commune, ward and town police stations to form 13 commune-level police stations (reducing 18 commune-level police units).
At the ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Police requested the newly established City Police, District Police and Commune Police in the context of increasing area and population, the task of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level is increasingly high, so the commanders and officers of the Police in wards, communes and towns must continue to promote their existing experience and knowledge, constantly strive, train to improve their qualifications, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the political tasks assigned by the Provincial Police, District Police and local Party Committees and authorities.
