On August 11, at the headquarters of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City Police - Following the heroic tradition" took place and launched the movement "City Police Youth promotes the application of science and technology, pioneers in innovation, digital transformation to serve the work of the Police" for the period 2025 - 2030.
This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection and the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Attending were Lieutenant General Mai Hoang, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police; Board of Directors of the City Police; representatives of leaders of department-level units, grassroots police and more than 1,000 Union members and youth of the City Police attending in person and online.
Colonel Le Hoai Phong, Head of the Political Affairs Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, said: "The exhibition takes place from August 11 to September 2, 2025, the exhibition space includes 4 areas: "Heart for the People" introducing the formation and development of the People's Public Security force, 6 things taught by Uncle Ho, 5 oaths of honor and noble awards presented by the Party and State; "Stainless steel - Imprints of Time" displaying historical images of Ho Chi Minh City Police and previous units, combined with interactive screens; "Immortal feats" is an outdoor space with a model of the style of the shield, demonstrating the strength of the city's peace defense; and "Golden board - People's Public Security of the new era" recognizes the typical achievements, affirming the close relationship between the People's Public Security and the People's Blood.
Each image and displayed artifact recreates the historical mark and inspires today's officers and soldiers to continue to practice and strive, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and People", Colonel Le Hoai Phong emphasized.
At the opening ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City Police signed a cooperation agreement to research and apply science and technology and digital transformation with Saigon University; signed with the Southern Mobifone Youth Union to implement the program "Digital shield for businesses" for the period 2025 - 2026; demonstrated creative products and works; organized a training course on "Digital transformation skills and application of artificial intelligence in public security work".
The program also included a dialogue between the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the City Police with the Youth Union members and Youth Union members of the City Police with the theme "Aspiration to contribute - Pioneer in creativity". The movement " citadel Police Youth promotes the application of science and technology, pioneering innovation and digital transformation" in the period of 2025 - 2030 was launched with the expectation of promoting youth, shortening processing time, reducing administrative procedures, and serving the people more effectively.
In addition, the exhibition also introduces a robot model to support public reception, a virtual reality exhibition Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and an online exhibition Drug Danger and Uncompromising War, contributing to increasing interaction and the application of technology in exhibition activities.
