On September 10, in Hanoi, the Presidential Office announced the Order of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam announcing the laws passed by the 16th National Assembly at the 1st Extraordinary Session.
At the press conference, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Office Can Dinh Tai announced the President's Order on laws passed by the National Assembly at the First Extraordinary Session.
Accordingly, the promulgated laws include: Oil and Gas Law; Law on Prevention and Control of Mass Destructive Weapons; Law on Dissemination and Legal Education; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on State Compensation Liability; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Customs Law; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 9 laws on military and national defense;
Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Investment Law; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam, Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Law on Credit Institutions; Law on Urban Development; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Publishing Law; Law on Grassroots Mediation; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Workers going to work abroad under contract.
The Presidential Office also announced the President's Order on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 10 laws related to administrative procedures and business conditions in the field of agriculture and environment; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Radio Frequency Law, Telecommunications Law, Law on Electronic Transactions and Law on Technology Transfer; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Architecture Law.
The above laws were passed by the 16th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 1st Extraordinary Session on August 23rd and 24th, 2026.
