On the afternoon of July 1, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the establishment of advisory and support agencies, specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and personnel work.
Regarding personnel for specialized agencies and public service units under the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the decision was made to appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh to the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi To Hai to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Tran Cang to the position of Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Duong Minh Duc to the position of Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
Mr. Pham Van Nam holds the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training; Mr. Le Quang Hung holds the position of Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Vo Anh Tuan holds the position of Director of the Department of Justice; Mr. Tran Dinh Hiep holds the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Minh Truong holds the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. Dang Cong Tien holds the position of Chief Inspector of the province.
Mr. Cao Thanh Thuong was appointed as Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Truong Son as Director of the Department of Construction; Ms. Do Thi Dieu Hanh as Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Tran Kim Kha as Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
For public service units, Mr. Ngo Tung Son was appointed to the position of Director of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center; Mr. Luu Nhat Phong to the position of Director of the Provincial Traffic and Civil Works Project Management Board; Mr. To Tan Thi to the position of Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Projects; Mr. Pham Xuan Hiep to the position of Director of the Construction Project Management Board; Mr. Ngo Van Thang to the position of Director of Kon Ka Kinh National Park; Mr. Nguyen Dang Khoa to the position of Director of the Forest Protection and Development Fund.
At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - to concurrently hold the position of Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
Speaking at the conference, Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung said that the Provincial Party Standing Committee has carefully reviewed, selected and decided to appoint and assign cadres to take on key leadership and management positions at provincial agencies and units.
"This is not only the trust and assignment of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, but also a great honor and a heavy responsibility for each comrade who is trusted with the important responsibility" said Mr. Dung.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested agencies and units to organize the handover of finance and assets in a strict, scientific and correct manner; fully and promptly implement the regime and policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees affected by the arrangement process, ensure legitimate rights, stabilize psychology and ideology and create conditions for cadres to continue to contribute.
"After the merger, the number of deputy heads of departments and branches will be very large. The heads of units must assign democratic, public and transparent tasks to promote the strengths and abilities of each cadre. Absolutely do not have the idea of "your province, my province", everyone must be in one united, united. The province will handle the leader first for any agency or unit that allows this situation to occur," Mr. Dung emphasized.
