On December 29, at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of Hue City Police, Phu Xuan District Police, Thuan Hoa District Police, Phong Dien Town Police and Phu Loc District Police.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel - Ministry of Public Security announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of Hue City Police; arrangement and consolidation of district-level Police in Hue City; organization of the District-level Police Investigation Agency and arrangement and consolidation of the police force of communes, wards and towns.
Accordingly, after its establishment, Hue City Police will have an organizational structure including: Thuan Hoa District Police, Phu Xuan District Police (separated from the old Hue City Police), Phong Dien Town Police (formerly Phong Dien District Police), Phu Loc District Police (merged from Nam Dong and Phu Loc District Police), Huong Thuy Town Police, Phu Vang District Police and Quang Dien District Police.
On behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security presented the decision on personnel arrangement for the Hue City Police Department. Under the glorious flag of the Fatherland, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police solemnly performed the oath-taking ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the establishment and implementation of the Hue City Police Department is an important political event, opening a new development stage for the Thua Thien Hue Police force when the locality becomes a centrally-run city.
Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung requested the leaders of Hue City Police to quickly complete the remaining conditions in terms of facilities, barracks and professional staff to soon put the organization into stable operation. At the same time, urgently deploy tasks to ensure political security, social order and safety, and focus on protecting security forces before, during and after the Lunar New Year - 2025.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan affirmed that he will seriously accept the instructions of the Deputy Minister of Public Security and the city leaders, and committed to building Hue City Police into a strong and comprehensive unit, meeting all requirements and tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.
