On September 3, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.
According to Decision No. 302-QDNS/TW dated August 22, 2026 of the Secretariat on personnel work, Mr. Vu Thanh Mai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization (TGDV) Department resigned from the position of Deputy Head of the Central TGDV Department; transferred and appointed to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

On the afternoon of September 3, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences organized a Conference to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work.
According to Decision No. 303-QDNS/TW dated August 22, 2026, the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee transferred and appointed Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central General Service Department, to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; and at the same time appointed her to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences for the term 2025-2030.

Da Nang announces decisions on personnel work
On September 4, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions to establish Party committees directly under the City Party Committee and personnel work.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to establish the Party Committee of the City People's Council directly under the Da Nang City Party Committee.
