On the morning of December 16, in Can Tho City, the Central Propaganda Department held a national conference to review the work of advising Party committees on Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields in 2024; and deploy tasks in 2025.
According to the program, at the Conference, delegates listened to a report on the results of the Party Committee's advisory work on Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields in 2024; and directions and tasks in 2025.
In 2024, the entire Propaganda sector has been proactive, innovative, creative, focused on advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels to strengthen leadership and direction to effectively implement Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics, and propaganda fields.
The entire sector has proactively summarized practices, researched theories, developed projects and scientific topics, and submitted new documents to the Politburo and the Secretariat with specific viewpoints, policies and solutions to lead and direct all aspects and fields of Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda work.
Political education work; grasping and orienting the thoughts and moods of cadres, party members, and public opinion; combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints; preventing and handling bad and toxic information, especially on cyberspace, has been innovated, more timely and effective. The work of Party building in terms of ethics has been implemented synchronously with more specific and practical actions.
Propaganda, press - publishing, and foreign information work continues to innovate in content and methods in the direction of maintaining information discipline, content, and reasonable dosage, leaving no information gaps, and no errors for hostile forces to exploit to sabotage.
Many major, new, and complicated issues affecting the thinking and mood of cadres and party members, such as handling errant cadres, including high-ranking cadres; perfecting key cadres; streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system... were directed and oriented for widespread, timely, and focused propaganda, contributing to creating solidarity, unity, and strengthening trust among cadres, party members, and the people.
Previously, on the afternoon of December 15, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and delegates offered incense at the Hung King Temple in Can Tho City, on the occasion of coming to Can Tho City to attend the national conference summarizing the Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields in 2024 and the national press conference summarizing the work in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025.
