At the voter contact conference in Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang, many frank opinions were sent to the candidates for the 16th National Assembly, emphasizing the requirement to strengthen supervision, care for social security and properly resolve compensation and site clearance policies in key industrial areas.
In the afternoon of March 3, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Nui Thanh commune, a meeting with voters of Nui Thanh commune and Tam Anh commune to mobilize for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term was held according to the plan of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city.
Nui Thanh is a key area for industrial development, concentrating many businesses, industrial zones - clusters and a large labor force. Therefore, social security, employment, environment, and compensation and site clearance issues always receive special attention from voters.
At the conference, voter Tran Thanh Hung (Nui Thanh commune) expressed his wish that if National Assembly deputy candidates are elected, they should well perform their role of supreme supervision, closely monitoring the settlement of people's recommendations.
Many opinions suggested that delegates must be close to the grassroots level, regularly contact and dialogue with workers and laborers in industrial parks; promptly reflect inadequacies in salary policies, insurance, social housing, and working conditions.
Voter Le Thi Huong (Tam Anh commune) also emphasized the requirement of "saying and doing", avoiding the situation of making many promises but the results of implementation are not clear. In particular, in areas with many investment projects, people want compensation and site clearance policies to ensure fairness, transparency, appropriateness, and long-term stability of life for affected people.
In addition, opinions also focused on social security policies, caring for policy families, poor households, the elderly, children and vulnerable groups; increasing investment in health and grassroots education; ensuring a safe living environment in coastal areas and industrial parks.
Candidate affirms determination to dedicate to the end
Talking to voters, National Assembly candidates expressed their honor to be introduced to run for election in constituency No. 5, including Nui Thanh area - a place that is undergoing strong changes in industry and urbanization.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Secretary of the Party Committee of the VGCL - presented the action program, affirming that he will proactively and actively participate in law-making, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country; especially paying attention to social security, sustainable development, land management, resources, environmental protection and support for businesses and workers.
The candidate emphasized that if trusted by voters, he will work with the City National Assembly Delegation to listen to and truthfully summarize voters' opinions; monitor and urge the settlement of outstanding issues, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the People.
Whether elected or not, I will continue to strive and contribute in any position, with the highest goal of serving the People" - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized.
The conference closed in a democratic and frank atmosphere. The expectations that Nui Thanh voters sent are not only requirements for each candidate, but also a reminder of the responsibility of the People's Deputy: to be close to the people, understand the people and act for the people.
