Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1659/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Da Nang city in 2025.
The National Assembly Standing Committee decides to reorganize to establish commune-level administrative units of Da Nang city.
The wards include: Hai Chau, Hoa Cuong, Thanh Khe, An Khe, An Hai, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, Hoa Khanh, Hai Van, Lien Chieu, Cam Le, Hoa Xuan, Tam Ky, Quang Phu, Huong Tra, Ban Thach, Dien Ban, Dien Ban Dong, An Thang, Dien Ban Bac, Hoi An, Hoi An Dong, Hoi An Tay.
The communes include: Hoa Vang, Hoa Tien, Ba Na, Nui Thanh, Tam My, Tam Anh, Duc Phu, Tam Xuan, Tay Ho, Chien Dan, Phu Ninh, Lanh Ngoc, Tien Phuoc, Thanh Binh, Son Cam Ha, Tra Lien, Tra Giap, Tra Tan, Tra Doc, Tra My, Nam Tra My, Tra Tap, Tra Van, Tra Linh, Tra Leng, Thang Binh, Thang An, Thang Truong, Thang Dien, Thang Phu, Dong Duong, Que Son Trung, Que Son Son Son Son;
Xuan Phu, Nong Son, Que Phuoc, Duy Nghia, Nam Phuoc, Duy Xuyen, Thu Bon, Dien Ban Tay, Go Noi, Dai Loc, Ha Nha, Thuong Duc, Vu Gia, Phu Thuan, Thanh My, Ben Giang, Nam Giang, Dac Pring, La Ge, La Eie, Song Vang, Song Kon, Dong Giang, Ben Hien, Avong, Tay Giang, Hung Son, Hiep Duc, Viet An, Phuoc Tra, Kham Duc, Phuoc Nang, Phuoc Chanh, Phuoc Thanh, Phuoc Hiep.
Arrange the entire natural area and population of Hoang Sa district into a special zone called Hoang Sa special zone.
After the arrangement, Da Nang city has 94 commune-level administrative units, including 23 wards, 70 communes, 1 special zone; including 23 wards, 68 communes, 1 special zone formed after the arrangement and 2 communes that do not implement the arrangement are Tam Hai commune and Tan Hiep commune.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval (June 16).
The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement prescribed in Article 1 of this Resolution officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
The Government, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Da Nang City, local authorities, administrative units related to the implementation of the arrangement and other relevant agencies and organizations are responsible for organizing the implementation of this Resolution.
Arrange and stabilize the apparatus of local agencies and organizations; stabilize the lives of local people, ensure the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the area.
Assign the Government, based on this Resolution and Project No. 403/DA-CP of the Government, to organize the accurate determination of the natural area of commune-level administrative units and publicly announce it before September 30, 2025.
At the same time, urgently deploy the work of measuring and determining the boundary scope of administrative units on the field to prepare documents on the boundary of administrative units according to regulations.
