Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the training program on the implementation of trial operations of new wards and communes has 4 topics discussed by the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, the Legal Committee, the People's Council of Da Nang City, and the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City.
The main contents of the trial operation mechanism will take place on June 21, 22 and 23, then will meet and learn from experience, and deploy to all 94 communes, wards and special zones on June 25-26.
It is expected that the Secretary of Quang Nam province and the Secretary of Da Nang city will hold a meeting to review experience once again on June 28 so that by June 30 according to the Central schedule, they will announce all decisions on merging Da Nang city and Quang Nam province into the new Da Nang city along with decisions to announce the Da Nang City Party Committee, decisions on personnel, City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, all relevant levels.
Mr. Ho Ky Minh suggested that all leaders, departments, districts, localities, and delegates attending the study be truly serious. There are any remaining issues that need to be discussed, and can be discussed soon so that leaders and departments of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province can discuss and share them again.
According to Mr. Ho Ky Minh, cases that cannot be answered immediately can be recorded and answered later. Currently, under the direction of the steering committee of the two localities, Quang Nam province and Da Nang city have both established a standing team to handle problems.
Mr. Ho Ky Minh requested that the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City and the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Nam Province, based on the decision to establish a Standing Working Group of Quang Nam Province and Da Nang City, need to publicize the list of working group members as well as the phone number to contact so that all leaders, departments of districts, communes and wards can proactively contact, discuss, and share problems in the trial operation process as well as later officially operate the 2-level local government model.
Currently, from now until June 30, it will be applied in Quang Nam province, Da Nang city and after July 1 and onwards, it will be applied throughout Da Nang city.
