On the afternoon of October 8, Vietnam Railway Corporation held a ceremony to attach signs to works and products to welcome the 1st Government Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030).
The project "Upgrading and renovating 20 passenger carriages to serve passengers on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route" is one of the typical projects to welcome the 1st Government Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030). The project was implemented in a short time (from March 13 to May 10, 2025), but with a high spirit of determination, the entire workload was completed on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics and techniques.
After more than 4 months of operation, the "Hoa Phuong Do" train has transported nearly 607,000 passengers, with revenue reaching 67 billion VND (equal to 147% over the same period). Since the beginning of the year, the Hanoi - Hai Phong route has served nearly 1.1 million passengers, with revenue reaching more than 109 billion VND (130% over the same period last year).
The "Hoa Phuong Do" train convoy has become a new transportation product, effectively combining railway transportation and tourism development, especially in the context of Hai Phong Station being recognized as a "Tourist Destination".
Mr. Dang Sy Manh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation, emphasized: The "Flower Red Phuong" train convoy is a typical project, affirming the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, innovating and creating of cadres, party members and workers in the entire Corporation.
The project not only raises the level of railway transportation services, meeting the increasing demand of passengers but also contributes significantly to socio-economic development, promoting the image of Vietnam Railway Corporation associated with Hai Phong city - Hoa Phuong Do city.
According to Mr. Dang Sy Manh, in recent years, the railway industry has continuously innovated, applied initiatives, and improved techniques, contributing to improving product quality, increasing labor productivity, shortening construction time, saving costs, and ensuring safety.
The railway industry has also implemented many high-quality projects and products such as: "5 Cua O" train convoy; reorganizing the operation of the Gia Lam - Nam Ninh international passenger train, exploiting new cargo flows on the Nam Ninh - Yen Vien route. In particular, the North-South railway journey was ranked first by Lonely Planet magazine in the list of "10 best train journeys in the world in 2025".
In particular, the "Ship Road - Flower Road" movement continues to spread strongly, with more than 200km of flower roads planted, attracting a large number of people, organizations, and associations in the locality to participate, contributing to beautifying the landscape and enhancing the image of the Vietnam railway industry.
