Speaking at the festival, General Phan Van Giang expressed his joy and emotion at attending the National Great Unity Festival with the delegation at Dong residential group, Linh Son ward.
General Phan Van Giang emphasized that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed that "In the sky, nothing is more precious than the people. There is nothing stronger in the world than the people's solidarity."
That is a great truth, a foundation of our Party's consistent ideology in leading the Vietnamese revolution. The draft document of the 14th Congress also emphasizes the need to build a culture of solidarity, humanity, and affection, considering it a solid spiritual foundation for rapid and sustainable development.
General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated and praised the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Linh Son ward in implementing patriotic emulation movements, especially the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Thereby, contributing practically to building Thai Nguyen to develop more and more, richly beautiful and civilized.
In the coming time, local levels, sectors and people need to continue to strengthen propaganda and thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoint in the Draft Resolution of the 14th National Congress on promoting the strength of national solidarity, associated with effectively implementing the resolutions of the Politburo. Pay more attention to social security work, take care of people's lives, especially those who are still in difficulty, policy beneficiaries, and people with revolutionary contributions.
General Phan Van Giang believes that with the tradition of solidarity, affection, studiousness and revolution, along with the close leadership and direction of local authorities and the Dong residential group in particular, Linh Son ward and the homeland of Thai Nguyen in general will continue to make stronger breakthroughs, becoming a bright spot in economic, cultural and social development, strengthening national defense and security in the new era.
On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang and the working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense presented 100 gifts to policy families, poor and near-poor households, and families affected by storms and floods in the area.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented gifts to the Dong residential group and 10 typical families in the residential area. Military Region 1, Command 86, Thai Nguyen province also presented gifts to collectives, households, and individuals of Dong residential group and Linh Son ward.
