Dak Nong plans to establish two provincial Party Committees and merge and consolidate 12 agencies and units.

On December 13, Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee directed and oriented the content for organizations, localities, agencies, and units to develop plans to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for direction on merging, consolidating, and ending the operations of a number of Party organizations, agencies, and units.

At the provincial level, two Party Committees will be established: the Provincial Party Committee, mass organizations, and judiciary; and the Provincial Government Party Committee, while a number of agencies and units will be merged and consolidated.

The Party Committee of the Provincial Party, mass and judicial agencies includes: Party organizations in advisory and support agencies, public service units directly under the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, provincial socio-political organizations, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Court, and mass organizations assigned provincial-level tasks by the Party and State.

The provincial government Party Committee includes: Party organizations in specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee and a number of large-scale State-owned enterprise Party Committees with important roles and positions in the province's economic development.

The Provincial Party Committee also oriented the structure, arrangement and consolidation of specialized agencies including: Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Department of Planning and Investment and Department of Finance;

Department of Transport and Department of Construction; Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Department of Information and Communications and Department of Science and Technology; Religious Affairs Committee under the Department of Home Affairs into the Provincial Ethnic Committee.
