On June 30, Ca Mau province organized the announcement of the Resolution and Decision of the Central and local governments on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing a party organization, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces, communes and wards of Ca Mau province.
Accordingly, the whole province of Ca Mau after merging with Bac Lieu province has 64 communes and wards. At the announcement ceremony, the decision to appoint Party Committee Secretaries, Chairmen of People's Committees and other positions was also presented so that the new communes and wards can be put into operation from July 1, 2025.
Of the 64 newly established communes and wards, 1 commune (Ganh Hao commune) still lacks the position of Chairman of the People's Committee. The detailed list of 64 Secretaries and 63 Chairmen of the People's Committees of Ca Mau province from July 1, 2025 is as follows:
