On the afternoon of December 23, 2025, in Hanoi, the Central Organizing Committee held a Conference to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Secretariat transferred and appointed Mr. Trinh Manh Linh - Assistant to the Prime Minister, Deputy Head of the Government Office to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
At the Conference, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Decision of the Secretariat and presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Trinh Manh Linh.
Mr. Trinh Manh Linh has a PhD in Economic Management, Master of Foreign Trade, and Bachelor of Law.
In January 2025, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Government Office.
Mr. Trinh Manh Linh was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister from August 2023. Previously, he held the role of Secretary to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Before working at the Government Office, Mr. Trinh Manh Linh had worked in Party and local agencies.
The Central Organizing Committee is the advisory and support agency of the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Secretariat on Party building and organization; at the same time, it is a professional - technical agency on organization, cadres, party members, and internal political protection of the Central Committee.
