On March 30, the 13th Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, opened the first session to elect positions of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and People's Assessors, in order to ensure the quality and efficiency of the government apparatus in the new term.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council introduced and unanimously elected Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the 12th Provincial People's Council - to hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council unanimously elected 2 Vice Chairmen of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council of the XIII term, term 2026-2031 for Mr. Truong Van Dat - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of the XII term, term 2021-2026 and Ms. Huynh Thuy Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of the XII term, term 2021-2026.
The session also unanimously elected the Heads of Committees of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
Regarding personnel of the Provincial People's Committee, the session introduced and unanimously elected Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term - to hold the position of Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee of the XIII term, term 2026-2031.
Unanimously introduce and elect 6 Vice Chairmen of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee of the XIII term, term 2026-2031 for the following people:
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Duong Mah Tiep - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
The meeting also unanimously elected the title of Member of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Resolutions confirming the results of the election of the Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council; Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee of the XIII term, 2026-2031, were approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council of the XIII term, first session, on March 30 and take effect from the time of adoption.
