On the morning of March 30, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, XIII term, 2026–2031, opened its first session.
2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, continuing to implement the Resolution of the first Provincial Party Congress and the socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030.

85 delegates have just been trusted by voters throughout the province to be elected as delegates of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2026–2031. Voters expressed their wish that delegates continue to cultivate political bravery, improve their qualifications, capacity and sense of responsibility; well perform the role of elected representatives, worthy of the trust and expectations of voters and people.

Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc - Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee emphasized: in this term, the province will prioritize breakthrough mechanisms and policies on attracting investment, developing infrastructure, digital transformation, science and technology, innovation, developing difficult areas and improving people's lives.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council needs to strengthen focused and key supervision, going straight to major and complex issues that easily lead to negativity and waste; promptly detect and propose handling existing problems and limitations, contributing to removing bottlenecks and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee needs to focus on drastically and synchronously directing solutions to improve the quality of growth, restructure the economy associated with innovating the growth model.
Focus on synchronously developing infrastructure, especially strategic transport infrastructure connecting plateau - coastal areas, irrigation infrastructure, digital infrastructure, logistics infrastructure; gradually forming a development space closely linked between regions in the province and neighboring areas.
