Dissolution of the Court and Procuracy of Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province

From January 1, 2025, the People's Court and People's Procuracy of Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province will be dissolved.

The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued Resolution No. 1283/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Ha Tinh province for the 2023-2025 period.

Accordingly, the arrangement of Ha Tinh city, Cam Xuyen district, Loc Ha district and Thach Ha district is as follows:

Adjust a part of the natural area of ​​138.71 km2, population of 81,620 people of Thach Ha district, corresponding to the entire natural area and population of 11 communes, including: Dinh Ban, Tan Lam Huong, Thach Dai, Thach Hai, Thach Hoi, Thach Khe, Thach Lac, Thach Thang, Thach Tri, Thach Van and Tuong Son, to merge into Ha Tinh city.

Adjust the entire natural area of ​​7.42 km2, population of 5,687 people of Cam Vinh commune and the entire natural area of ​​10.86 km2, population of 7,016 people of Cam Binh commune of Cam Xuyen district to merge into Ha Tinh city.

Adjust the entire natural area of ​​6.46 km2 and population of 9,250 people of Ho Do commune, Loc Ha district to merge into Ha Tinh city.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​110.51 km2 and population of 96,331 people of Loc Ha district after adjustment according to regulations into Thach Ha district.

Arrange the commune-level administrative units of Ha Tinh city as follows:

Merge the entire natural area of ​​2.35 km2, population of 12,100 people of Nguyen Du ward and adjust a part of the natural area of ​​0.07 km2, population of 1,000 people of Tran Phu ward into Bac Ha ward. After the arrangement, Bac Ha ward has a natural area of ​​3.32 km2 and a population of 29,193 people.

Merge the entire natural area of ​​6.26 km2 and population of 13,971 people of Thach Linh ward into Tran Phu ward. After merging, Tran Phu ward has a natural area of ​​7.25 km2 and a population of 24,791 people.

Establish Thach Hung ward on the basis of the entire natural area of ​​4.67 km2 and population of 7,087 people of Thach Hung commune.

Establish Thach Trung ward on the basis of the entire natural area of ​​6.15 km2 and population of 17,737 people of Thach Trung commune;

Establish Thach Ha ward on the basis of the entire natural area of ​​7.97 km2 and population of 11,467 people of Thach Ha commune.

Establish Dong Mon ward on the basis of the entire natural area of ​​8.93 km2 and population of 9,880 people of Dong Mon commune;

After the arrangement, Ha Tinh city has a natural area of ​​220.00 km2 and a population of 266,321 people; there are 27 commune-level administrative units, including 12 wards and 15 communes.

Thach Ha district has a natural area of ​​325.37 km2 and a population of 190,335 people; there are 22 commune-level administrative units.

Cam Xuyen district has a natural area of ​​618.76 km2 and a population of 178,133 people; there are 21 commune-level administrative units.

The resolution also stated the dissolution of the People's Court and People's Procuracy of Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province.

The People's Court and People's Procuracy of Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province are responsible for inheriting the tasks and powers of the People's Court and People's Procuracy of Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province according to the provisions of law.

This Resolution comes into force from January 1, 2025.

From the effective date of this resolution, Ha Tinh province has 12 district-level administrative units and 209 commune-level administrative units.
