At the recent 39th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period of 12 provinces and cities.
According to Lao Dong reporter's investigation, in Hanoi alone, it is planned to rearrange 109 communes to form 56 new communes. After the rearrangement, 53 communes in 20 districts, towns and cities of the city will be reduced.
In Ba Vi district: Establish Phu Hong commune on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Chau Son commune, Phu Phuong commune and Tan Hong commune.
Chuong My District: Establish Hong Phu commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Dong Phu commune and Hong Phong commune;
Establish Hoa Phu commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Phu Nam An commune and Hoa Chinh commune.
Me Linh district, merge the entire area and population of Van Yen commune into Lien Mac commune.
My Duc District: Establish My Xuyen commune on the basis of merging the entire area and population of My Thanh commune and Bot Xuyen commune;
Establish Van Tin commune on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Doc Tin commune and Van Kim commune.
Phu Xuyen District: Merge the entire area and population of Tri Trung commune into Hong Minh commune;
Enter the entire area and population of Dai Thang commune into Van Hoang commune;
Establish Quang Ha commune on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Son Ha commune and Quang Trung commune;
Enter the entire area and population of Nam Trieu commune into Nam Phong commune.
