On August 12, the Soc Son Commune Party Committee (Hanoi City) held the first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with 215 official delegates, representing more than 6,200 Party members in the entire Party Committee.
Speaking at the Congress, City Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Soc Son Commune People's Council Bui Duy Cuong said that in the 2025-2030 period, the Commune Party Committee determined that the development viewpoint is to continue to closely follow and creatively apply the Party's guidelines, State policies and laws, and the directives and orientations of Hanoi City to the commune's practice; implement the motto "commune does what is done, commune is responsible" according to decentralization and delegation to promote local rapid and sustainable development.
To turn Soc Son commune into a developed urban area in the North of the Capital, the Commune Party Committee emphasized 3 breakthroughs that need to be focused on implementing in the period of 2025-2030. The top priority task is to effectively implement planning and site clearance; synchronously develop technical infrastructure, culture - society, environment, in which priority is given to investment in developing transport infrastructure.
The Soc Son Commune Party Committee will also focus on directing the drastic and effective implementation of solutions to increase State budget revenue; speed up the implementation of bidding and auction projects according to planning and regulations of law.
Along with that, it is necessary to continue promoting administrative reform, digital transformation; applying digital technology and digital data in directing, operating, and providing public services. At the same time, focus on building and improving the quality of the staff to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong emphasized that in order to successfully complete the goals, targets and tasks of the entire term, the Soc Son Commune Party Committee needs to continue to innovate the leadership methods and working methods of Party committees and authorities at all levels.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong also suggested that the Soc Son Commune Party Committee focus on effectively exploiting potential and advantages, promoting the local economic development in a rapid and sustainable manner, contributing to the implementation of the double-digit growth target of Hanoi City.
In the coming time, the Commune Party Committee needs to pay attention to accelerating key projects such as: Multi-purpose entertainment complex - horse racing school, Weekends (Area III - Soc Temple), developing projects and areas that have been oriented in planning projects...
At the first Congress of the Soc Son Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, important decisions of Hanoi City were announced, including the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Inspection Committee of the Soc Son Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030; Decision to appoint delegates to attend the 18th Hanoi City Party Committee Congress, term 2025-2030.
Accordingly, Mr. Bui Duy Cuong was appointed as Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Soc Son Commune; Mr. Vuong Nguyen Minh as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Soc Son Commune Party Committee; Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Son Commune.
