On the afternoon of September 4, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council held its 25th session.
At the meeting, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council reviewed and discussed the proposal of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and elected Mr. Le Ngoc Chau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021-2026 - with an absolute number of votes.
The Provincial People's Council has passed a resolution confirming the election results for the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021-2026; assigning the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to complete procedures and submit to the Prime Minister for approval according to regulations.
Previously, in the afternoon of the same day, the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat to transfer and appoint Major General Le Ngoc Chau - Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Party Secretary, Commander of the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
