The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the afternoon of September 13 that, at the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam, Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto will pay a working visit to Vietnam from September 13 to 14, 2024.
Mr. Prabowo, 72 years old, was elected President of Indonesia in February 2024 and was officially sworn in in October.
Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto's visit to Vietnam took place just a few days after Vietnam consecutively welcomed three distinguished guests from Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and Laos in the past two weeks.
At the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo and his wife paid an official visit to Vietnam from September 5 to 8, 2024.
Following that, President of the Republic of Mozambique Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and his wife paid an official visit to Vietnam from September 8 to 10, 2024 at the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife.
Most recently, Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and his wife paid a state visit to Vietnam. The visit of the Lao General Secretary and President and his wife took place from September 10 to 13 at the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife.
