On December 18, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of Vinh Phuc province held a meeting to report on the situation and results of activities in 2024, identify key tasks in 2025 and deploy a number of other important contents.
Accordingly, in 2024, the Committee has put 7 new cases and incidents under monitoring and direction; Party committees at all levels in the Provincial Party Committee have inspected 544 Party organizations and 691 Party members; and supervised 443 Party organizations and 875 Party members.
Inspection Committees at all levels carried out the task of checking for signs of violations with 92 Party organizations and 173 Party members.
At the same time, conduct 3 inspections and 3 thematic supervisions on corruption prevention and control work for a number of Party committees and organizations in the province.
Through inspection and supervision work, Party committees at all levels have disciplined 16 Party organizations and 271 Party members; Inspection Committees at all levels have disciplined 63 Party members.
The Inspectorate has conducted 98 administrative inspections and checks with 233 agencies, organizations and units, discovered economic violations with an amount of nearly 18 billion VND, recommended recovering nearly 1.9 billion VND to the State budget, and the rest are other economic recommendations.
Conducted 93 specialized inspections and examinations with more than 1,000 organizations and individuals, issued 45 conclusions and 495 decisions on administrative sanctions against 162 organizations and 333 individuals, recommended the recovery of more than 2.7 billion VND to the State budget, other recommendations of more than 6.6 billion VND, sanctioned over 14.4 billion VND in administrative sanctions...
Regarding the key directions and tasks in 2025, the Committee will continue to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct the implementation of the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity according to the direction of the Central Committee, the General Secretary - Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity.
Review and add corruption, waste and negativity cases and incidents to the Provincial Steering Committee for monitoring and direction. At the same time, direct the acceleration of progress, early completion of investigation and handling of complicated cases and incidents that are of public interest, especially those under the monitoring of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee.
