At the meeting, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van An discussed in detail the Central Government's policy on streamlining the apparatus and the province's project on implementing the arrangement.
In the immediate future, Vinh Phuc province will terminate and dissolve 12 Party organizations, establish 2 Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee; merge 2 Party building committees; end the tasks of 1 department; merge 10 departments, agencies and equivalents; merge 5 provincial project management boards into 3 boards; merge 4 state-managed companies into 1 company.
Thus, after the arrangement, Vinh Phuc will reduce 15 Party organizations, 1 Party committee, 6 departments and 6 public service units and provincial-level state-owned enterprises.
“The spirit of restructuring the apparatus is very urgent and drastic. The Central Government sets an example, the localities respond, only discuss and do, not retreat in the spirit that the Central Government does not wait for the province, the province does not wait for the district, the district does not wait for the grassroots. We are determined to complete the restructuring and streamlining plans as soon as possible,” Mr. Duong Van An emphasized.
Sharing at the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee, the Provincial Enterprises Party Committee and the Department of Foreign Affairs all agreed and supported the major policies of the Central Government and the province, as well as believed in the wise leadership and direction, and the attention and facilitation of the Central Government and the province in the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus and ensuring the regime and policies for cadres subject to arrangement.
Along with that, it is suggested that Vinh Phuc province are interested in arranging work for officials in the new unit to ensure the right people and the right jobs to promote their capacity, workouts, build specific streamlining roadmap to minimize the impact on the lives and work of the staff.
The Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee added that he will study and issue specific policies, in addition to the Central Government's policies, to motivate, encourage, and ensure the rights and benefits of cadres who are subject to restructuring and streamlining the apparatus.
