The Supervisory Delegation of the Legal Department of Hung Yen Provincial People's Council shall supervise the implementation of the Law on Military Service in the province in the period of 2022 - 2025 led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Legal Department of Hung Yen Provincial People's Council. Attending the supervision were Mr. Tran Thi Tuyet Huong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

According to the report at the monitoring session, over the past time, the Party Committee, the authorities and the Military Service Council (NVQS) localities have organized and implemented fully and seriously the steps in the process of recruiting and calling citizens to enlist with high determination. The work of thoroughly grasping, propagating and disseminating the Law on NVQS and documents guiding the selection and calling of enlistment citizens have been strengthened and renewed.
From 2022 to 2025, the whole province of Hung Yen registered and managed 151,781 citizens of military service age; 37,517 citizens were issued an order to be called for health screening for military service, of which 26,272 citizens were eligible for district-level health examination; the total number of military service health examinations was 26,272 citizens, of which 10,357 citizens were healthy.
From 2022 to 2025, the whole province has assigned 7,303 citizens (reaching 100% of the assigned targets) to military units to ensure publicity, democracy, compliance with the law, safety, and good quality; organized a reception for 7,158 discharged soldiers to their localities...
However, in the process of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, in some localities, the effectiveness of propaganda, education, and encouragement of citizens to join the army is not high; the number of citizens absent from the preliminary selection and health examination for military service is still high; the rate of citizens with college and university degrees is still low...
At the monitoring session, the monitoring team members requested the Ministry of Military Affairs of the province to clarify a number of contents such as: Propaganda and implementation of the Law on NVQS; The organization for citizens to admit the NVQS class to foster the Party's awareness; the number of soldiers was admitted to the Party in the army; the organization of prequalification and examination of NVQS health examination; measures to ensure safety before, during and after the ceremony, to receive troops; sanctioning administrative violations for cases of violations of law on NVA; Vocational advice, job placement for soldiers to return to the local ...
Speaking at the supervision, Mr. Tran Thi Tuyet Huong suggested: In the coming time, the Ministry of Military Affairs of the province will continue to coordinate with localities, departments, branches and mass organizations to synchronously implement solutions to improve the quality of recruitment and call for citizens to enlist. Military agencies at all levels actively advise the Party committees and local authorities to issue directive instructions, thematic resolutions, and guiding documents on the recruitment work.
