Vu Ban Secondary School is located in the central area of Vu Ban commune (Binh Luc district, Ha Nam province) and impresses people with its unique school gate.
The first time seeing the school gate designed like a pagoda gate, Ms. Vu Quynh (Nam Dinh city) said: "Suddenly passing through the area of Vu Ban commune Secondary School, I was very impressed with this school gate. At first, I didn't think this was a school gate, until I saw the sea and the space inside were classrooms."
From the outside, the school gate is designed like a pagoda gate. The overall system is divided into 1 main gate and 2 side gates on both sides with 4 gate pillars. Each pillar is about 5m high, the pillar pedestal is large and wide, above which are 4 mountain goats sitting on a table.

Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters about the unique pagoda gate, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tung - Vice Chairman of Vu Ban Commune People's Committee (Binh Luc District) said that the area where the secondary school and the commune People's Committee are currently located is the land of the old Do communal house and pagoda.
"According to the seniors in the commune handed down, previously due to land reform, the policy to eliminate superstition, so they destroyed the communal house and the temple to get wood to build schools. Vu Ban Secondary School was built on the communal house, the old temple, so the gate row was kept in the school gate. Up to now, this gate has existed for hundreds of years as the historic milestone associated with the local people."

According to the Vice Chairman of Vu Ban Commune People's Committee, the locality had previously intended to dismantle it, but to preserve its unique ancient features and preserve historical value, in 2008, the gate of Vu Ban Commune Secondary School was restored. Outside the school gate, the inside of the classrooms is built in an area, spacious and in accordance with school standards.
