First, the two sides identified this as the most important foreign affairs activity of the two Parties and two countries in 2026, showing the importance and political trust in Vietnam-China relations in each country's foreign policy, wishing to bring Vietnam-China relations to a new height in the new situation.

The leaders of the Party and State of China respect and highly appreciate the fact that General Secretary and President To Lam made his first foreign visit to China right after the 16th National Assembly consolidated the titles of State leaders; welcoming the delegation with the highest level of rituals, respectful and extremely warm, with many exceptions" - Minister Le Hoai Trung said.

Second, the two highest leaders of the two Parties and two countries had a sincere and broad exchange of views on the situation of each Party and each country, the international and regional situation, and comprehensive exchanges on bilateral relations, achieving important common perceptions, and setting out major directions for promoting substantive cooperation in all fields, taking advantage of the strengths of each side.

Third, through exchanges, the two leaders agreed and reached important common understandings on the direction of developing Vietnam-China relations to a new height.

Fourth, the two leaders also emphasized the active coordination and mutual support on the international stage, creating an important basis and creating more favorable conditions for consolidating a peaceful and stable environment for each country.

In general, the visit is both an affirmation of the traditional close and intimate relationship between the two Parties, the two countries and the people of the two countries in many revolutionary periods, which has been painstakingly nurtured by generations of leaders of the two sides, and affirms the determination and sets out the overall vision and direction of the highest leaders of the two Parties and the two countries in raising the level of strategic connection between the two countries in the new development stage, consolidating the favorable foreign affairs situation, making this important relationship increasingly practical to meet the needs and desires of the people of the two countries in the new era, making positive contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and in the world" - the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
