On April 17, General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, left Nanning city (Guangxi), successfully concluding their state visit to China from April 14-17 at the invitation of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Committee for Foreign Affairs Liaison of the Communist Party of China Liu Haixing; Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Chen Gang accompanied and saw off General Secretary, President Su Lin and his wife and the high-level Vietnamese delegation.
Within the framework of the visit, General Secretary and President To Lam held talks with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping; witnessed the signing ceremony of a number of typical cooperation documents between the two countries; met with Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee Zhao Leji, Chairman of the National People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning, Minister of State Affairs Li Qiang; visited and delivered policy speeches at Qinghua University; visited the new Xiong'an area (Hubei province); visited the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Cooperation Center.
On this occasion, General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife met and talked with officials of representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in China; met with relatives of families of former Chinese experts and advisors who had helped Vietnam; attended the Vietnam - China friendship art program; visited the relic of the Central dormitory (Yu Cai Nanning School, Guangxi); attended the Launching Ceremony of the Vietnam - China Border People's Exchange Festival...
At the end of the visit, the two sides issued a Joint Statement between Vietnam and China on continuing to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promoting the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of greater strategic significance in the new era.
The State visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to China was a great success, promoting the tradition of Vietnam-China friendship, accelerating the construction of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance, promoting peace, stability and development, and prosperity of the region and the world.
