Welcoming the delegation to visit the museum were Member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo, Secretary of the Secretariat, Chief of the Office of the Communist Party of China Cai Qi.
After visiting and listening to the introduction of the exhibition areas in the museum, General Secretary and President To Lam said that Vietnam has just started construction of the Vietnamese Communist Party Museum in Hanoi - a project of particular importance, showing deep respect for the glorious and heroic history of the Vietnamese Communist Party.
The project will not only be a place to preserve, conserve, and display invaluable historical documents and materials of the Party, but also a red address for revolutionary tradition education for cadres, party members and people, especially the young generation; introducing to international friends about the history, role and great contributions of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the revolutionary cause of national liberation around the world.
Currently, the project is being focused on construction; at the same time, organizing the receipt of documents and artifacts, conducting research and collection, building detailed exhibition outlines..., striving to complete on schedule.
Here, General Secretary and President To Lam wrote a guest note affirming that the Party and State of Vietnam together with the Party and State of China preserve and promote the friendly relationship "both comrades and brothers" between Vietnam and China; develop the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the Community of Shared Future of strategic significance, for the happiness of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability and development of the region and the world.
The Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China was started construction on September 10, 2018, inaugurated on June 18, 2021, on the occasion of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (July 1, 1921 - July 1, 2021). The museum has a total construction area of 147,000m2 and is built on the theme "Don't forget the original wish, engrave the mission", designed according to the process of the Communist Party of China leading the Chinese people to "rise up, get rich, and become strong".
The museum displays more than 2,600 photos, more than 4,500 artifacts, arranged including 4 display areas and sub-areas; of which there are 420 typical national first-class artifacts, comprehensively showing the 100-year history of the Communist Party of China.
In the square area in front of the museum, the sculpture "Party Flag" and 4 groups of sculptural works on the themes "Belief", "Great Career", "Overcoming Difficulties", "Persecuting Dreams" are displayed.
Since it went into operation, the Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China has welcomed more than 3.5 million visitors, more than 10,000 domestic and foreign delegations to visit.
