On September 18, the People's Committee of Khanh Son commune held an inauguration ceremony for the road project from To hap town (old) to Hon Dung village, Son Hiep commune (old).
The project is over 1.2km long with a total investment of 40 billion VND and will start construction in 2023.
This is one of the projects and works that have a driving force to promote local socio-economic development and have been selected as the inauguration project to celebrate the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
According to Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Party Secretary, Chairman of Khanh Son Commune People's Council, the completed project will create favorable conditions for people to trade, connect the center of Khanh Son commune with communes and villages in the area, contributing to the economic development of the mountainous areas in the Southwest of Khanh Hoa province.
This is also a project to recognize the united efforts of the people and the volunteer donation of land for the State to build roads, upgrade transport infrastructure, thereby bringing the locality up to development, and escape poverty sustainably.
Khanh Son is known as the capital of durian agricultural products and high-value fruit trees of Khanh Hoa province. In the period of 2020-2025, Khanh Son commune has had new developments contributing to improving people's lives, especially ethnic minority people. In February 2025, Khanh Son is one of the last two localities in the old Khanh Hoa province to be recognized by the Government as a district to escape poverty.
The 1st Congress of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will take place from September 21-23, 2025, at the Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Palace.
Strictly implementing the Central Government's policy on practicing thrift, combating waste, and not showing off in any form according to the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee recently notified agencies, localities, and units about not accepting congress flowers.
